Parents’ responsibilities are…

   * to send the child to school rested, clean, fed and ready to learn.

    * to ensure that the child attends school regularly.

    * to send the child to school ON TIME each day.

    * to be aware of the child’s work, progress and problems.


     *  to maintain continuing contact with the child’s teachers.

    *  to reinforce at home the importance of acquiring the knowledge, skills and
        values needed to function in
society.

      *  to volunteer time, skills or resources when needed and possible.

    *  to respond to communication from the child’s school.

    *  
to let your child know that you and their teacher are a team. Do not               undermine 
the teacher and make the child think that you will not reinforce the goals and concerns of their teacher.
