                     Homework

Your child’s homework assignments will never be listed online. Notes will be sent home for special projects but, aside from that, homework assignments and directions need to be the responsibility of the student. Too often, children can become passive and rely on mom and dad to tell them what is required of them on their assignments. For this reason, I often change the directions that are written on the page or make special requests regarding coloring etc. Parents will not be privy to this information since it is only discussed in class. I use homework as a tool to develop their listening skills as well as their ability to retain information given to them orally.
